Larger than life, Gordon is one of the three remaining members of the original line-up of the Committee Band, responsible for much of the "jangly" guitar sound of the band, Gordon was also a member of Wizzard Wheeze, and is a member of the Hammersmith Morris Men. He is arguably the best-known ceilidh dance caller in the country and he is also still a member of the committee which organises the Knees Up Cecil Sharp Ceilidhs at Cecil Sharp House. At this years Bedworth he will be doing his best to keep the "Extra Big" line-up of Peeping Tom in order in the Saturday Ceilidh - a challenge to anyone - then again I doubt if even the Peepers would argue with Gordon! | |||||||||
