Welcome
to bedworth Folk festival 2003.
Please
accept our apologies for everything being very “last minute” this year, this is
a s a result of the delay in completion of the Civic Hall refurbishment which
left us having to make last minute arrangements to use alternative venues – we
must offer our sincere thanks to all those local organisations and businesses
that have gone out of their way to help and support the festival this year and
ensure that this years event has been able to go ahead under very difficult
circumstances.
Many
of our events are particularly planned for participation, especially the Folk
Club, Musicians and Singaround sessions.
The
Folk Club sessions have a number of “floor spots” just ask the host if you wish
to sing. Singarounds are strictly “round the room” sessions, the hosts will
work their way round the room by following the “token” as it is passed round –
please observe this solitary rule!
