Venues

The Civic Hall, traditionally our main venue and base, has undergone a spectacular refurbishment over the past 18 months, this will continue to be the central venue for the Festival, particularly on Saturday when the massive, and highly popular Craft Fair takes place and the festivals' Grand Ceilidh featuring the fantastic Hekety on saturday evening. There will be a series of workshops, meets and themed events in the refurbished Upstairs Lounge, and Childrens events (The Cool Dudes Club) will return to the established venue of the upstairs Small Hall, ensuring the best possible safety for the little ones- the Civic Hall will also be the main catering venue for festival goers as it now offers excellent food and real ale bars..

Disabled Access
Please note that many of our new/temporary venues are upstairs and therefore disabled access may be limited - we have done everything we can to address this but regret that some people with mobility problems may find the venues difficult or unaccessible.

THE WHITE SWAN, home of Bedworth Folk Club, hosts Music and Song sessions plus "Meet" sessions and Workshops on Saturday, Friday night Folkclub and Singaround, and is the centre of Sundays events, from breakfast to closing time!

THE ARTS CENTRE will again be the administration base, ticket collection point, sales etc, for the festival this year for friday and saturday, and will be used for a couple of workshop sessions (and don't forget the Real Ale Bar) Venue is upstairs - but now has full disabled access.

THE ARTS CENTRE THEATRE will have a "Traditional" theme throughout Saturday, climaxing in the highly popular "VOICES" concert.

The WHITE HORSE - just 50 yards fron The White Swan - has a smashing upstairs room, and we are really pleased to have been able to use this venue again, it proved highly popular last year, you are also welcome to sing and play in the new spacious open plan downstairs lounge. In addition to excellent ales the Horse also does some very tasty rolls if you fancy a light snack. Lounge is downstairs Clubroom is upstairs with restricted mobility access difficulties

THE CONSERVATIVE CLUB, just 50 yards along from The Arts Centre, a major concert venue for the whole week-end - Friday 8pm - midnight, Saturday 11.30am to midnight and Sunday 11.30am to 6.00pm. The Sunday evening Final Folk Club, will also take place here. We are really looking forward to using this venue for the whole week-end as it proved to be a real gem of a find last year. A selection of half a dozen or so real ales will be available.
Please note - The Concert Room is upstairs with restricted mobility access difficulties

Friday and Saturday we will be using the wonderful upstairs room of THE LIBERAL CLUB. Friday for the opening Ceilidh, and Saturday the club is also hosting two major saturday concerts including the very exciting "BANDS" concerts Saturday afternoon which will include Jez Lowe & The Bad Pennies, Isambarde, Belzebub, Harvey and more.
A lift is planned for installation in time for 2005 festival, but meantime the venue has restricted mobility access difficulties

Our new Camping area is at BEDWORTH RUGBY CLUB, there will also be some events there Saturday evening, and we will be especially looking at how these go s we would like to include the Rugby Club far more in future years. To walk to the Rugby Club, take the Coventry Road past the Conservative Club, and traffic lights, and turn right opposite the Black Bank pub into Rectory Road - the club is through the gateway at the end of the road.
