MALC - Bass (Electric & Acoustic), Guitar (6 & 12 string), Guitar-Banjo, Dulcimer, Vocals

Malc has been with the band since the beginning and has a vast experience of folk song and dance music (and beyond with previous experience in brass bands and rock bands!). In Glorishears he uses an Electric 5-string fretless Bass to lay down a really rocky beat for the up-tempo numbers and adds subtle mellow bass to the slower numbers.
Malc is well known throughout the Folkscene as a singer, guitarist, and electric and acoustic bass player, presenter/MC and organiser of numerous folk events (he has run folk clubs for well over twenty years, and is the organiser of Bedworth Festival). He has recently also been involved in a couple of albums featuring top folk performers.
